Cottages

The Welcome House, in the center of campus, is where our Director of Camping Operation lives with his family. In addition to being his home, this building is where the Camp Administration Offices are located. It also offers housing for some special guests and other RockyVine staff.

It has two stories, two fireplaces, sitting areas, and has been know to be a great place for adult leaders to get away for a bit of relaxation and refreshment. The lower floor contains our on-camps medical facility.

The Welcome House is opened daily from 8 am to 9 pm. In order to make our adults feel at home while they stay at RockyVine, the house has wireless internet, good reading materials, snacks, and beverages.

Voelkerding Cottage is a huge multi-functional building that was built in 1986 and renovated in 2009. Its capacity is 52 people with bedrooms of 4 people per room. Voelkerding has 6 bathrooms and 5 showers.

The back and lower floors of this cottage are the dining and kitchen facility.

Many enjoy using the piano in our upstairs dining hall!

Pal's Apartment is accessed by a private entrance in the rear of Pal's Cottage. This apartment is used for adults, families, and special guests. It has 2 bathrooms with shower facilities and can sleep up to 10 people.

Chapel Apartment You will find it just below the Chapel!!!

It has a private entrance and is used for adults, families, and special guests. This apartment can accommodate 5 people and has a separate bathroom and shower facility. This very quiet space is a favorite for priests and religious, since they are so close to the chapel!!!

Pal's Cottage faces Cornelson Cottage. It was built in 1989 and houses 50 people in 6 large bedrooms, sleeping 8 a piece. Each has its own private bathroom and shower facility. In addition, there is one bedroom that sleeps two. Like the other cottages at RockyVine.

The center of the cottage is a spacious open area, great for small group activities, or just hanging around and sharing stories about the day.

Cornelson Cottage was built in 1988 and sits in front of the lake. It can accommodate up to 60 people. The main floor, upstairs, has 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.

Like all of the cottages at RockyVine, this cottage has plenty of great space to hang out and hold small group activities.

The bottom floor has two large meeting rooms, a retreat supply room and a room that can be used for either a bedroom or small meeting space. There are three restroom facilities on this level.
